Earlier this week, 247Sports unveiled a massive overhaul to its 2020 rankings, which created major shifts within the class.The former No. 1 overall recruit, running back Zachary Evans, dropped back to No. 2. That paved the way for Bryan Bresee, a five-star defensive end recruit from Maryland, to take the top spot in the 2020 class.It’s a position Bresee owned during the 2018 football season, but he lost it in early 2019. Now that he’s back on top, many are wondering where he plans to sign.In the fall, Bresee revealed the top six schools he’s considering: Alabama, Clemson, Georgia, Michigan, Ohio State and Penn State.A few months later, 247Sports’ Crystal Ball Predictions have the Clemson Tigers as the heavy favorite to land the No. 1 recruit.Clemson – 71% of predictionsOhio State – 14%Penn State – 7%Ohio State was the heavy favorite heading into Bresee’s junior season, but the Tigers have made a significant charge over the past few months.Bresee stands 6-foot-5 and weighs in at 290 pounds. He revealed he plans to take one or two official visits in the spring and leave the final three for the fall.College football programs will be eagerly awaiting his decision.last_img
